Stephen F. Austin State University and Minnesota State University – Mankato have been placed on probation for the remainder of the year for violation of NCBA Rule 26.01.0. They both forfeited their entire scheduled conference series during Week 20 of the NCBA DI Season.
The University of Idaho has been placed on probation for the remainder of the year for violation of NCBA Rule 26.01.0. They forfeited their entire schedule conference series to the University of Montana.
The NCBA roster freeze is on April 15th 11:59pm Eastern Standard Time. After that time, no players can be added to the roster. It is essential that team check their rosters to make sure it is accurate and to correct any issues before the roster freeze.
East Carolina remains at #1 after a very competitive conference series with UNC, while Texas A&M turns some heads; earning 3 first place votes from the voters this week in the Rawlings Week 19 NCBA DI Top 20. Lots more movement with 4 new teams joining the party including first-year DI program Houston Community College. 4 new teams joining means 4 teams drop out. After lots of baseball a lot is happening. Three newcomers join the party, a lot of teams fall and a lot of teams rise…It’s pandemonium baby!
After a no hitter and a huge sweep over a ranked Michigan State team, East Carolina is winning over the voters by picking up 6 more first-place votes to secure themselves at the top of the Rawlings Week 15 NCBA DI Top 20. Lot’s of other moves including Grand Canyon taking a big fall and three newcomers joining the Top 20!
