Colorado State took home the Mid-America Regional Championship in 2016 after losing their opening round game to SIUE.   They battled back and won the Mid-Atlantic Regional by double dipping SIUE in the Championship.  They followed their regional performance with strong showing at the World Series but do they have what it takes to get back to the World Series or will someone else in the Mid-America take their place? Illinois won the Great Lakes Region in 2016 and followed up with a nice showing at the World Series defeating the defending champions, Oregon 6-5 in the opening round.  They start the 16-17 season off with a 3-0 record but is that enough to repeat in 2017? NCBA DI officers should be on the lookout for the 2017 Team Preview Form that was emailed to them. This form is the best way to market their teams to the Top 20 Voting Panel. The form needs completed and returned to the respective Regional Director by January 11th.
