DI REGIONAL’S COMPLETED; WORLD SERIES FIELD IS SET!

Well the DI Regionals have all been completed which means we have our field of eight teams that will compete for the 2018 NCBA DI World Series National Championship.  Click here to see how all the Regional’s played out and who is headed to Holly Springs!  What a weekend full of great baseball!  Congratulations to the following teams that punched their ticket to the NCBA DI World Series…

-Penn State University – North Atlantic Regional Champions
-University of Oregon – Northern Pacific Regional Champions
-East Carolina University – Mid-Atlantic Regional Champions
-Iowa State University – Mid-America Regional Champions
-Texas A&M University – Gulf Coast Regional Champions

NCBA DI REGIONALS AFTER DAY 2

Well the North Atlantic was the first to wrap up early due to weather and Penn State is headed back to Holly Springs after defeating Drexel 11-7 in the Championship Game.  Championship Sunday upon us, so check out the DI Regional Brackets after Day two to keep up to date on what’s going on in all the DI Regional Tournaments.

NCBA DI REGIONALS AFTER DAY 1

Well it was an eventful day for all the regional tournaments across the county.  Some games were not played due to weather other because of other circumstances. Everything is updated here.

NCBA DI REGIONAL’S ARE SET!

The NCBA Division I started with 138 teams.  Now we are down to the final 32 and after this weekend, we will be down to to the final 8.  Lot’s of excitment and great match-ups highlight this year’s Regional Tournaments.  Who’s gonna come out on top and earn a regional championship while also earning a trip to Holly Springs?  Check out all 8 NCBA DI Regional Brackets to find out!

RAWLINGS WEEK 24 NCBA DI TOP 20

East Carolina has been the #1 team in the country all year, but in the Rawlings Week 24 NCBA DI Top 20, ECU has been awarded all the first place votes, making them the unanimous #1 team in the county this week!  In other news, Oregon makes a HUGE jump and UCSB takes a big fall.  Make sure to check out how the Top 20 fared this week!

-Next Poll will be released on special date 5/14/18 after regional’s have been completed and the World Series teams have been set!

10 MORE TEAMS CLINCH POST-SEASON BERTH’S

This past weekend was good to 10 more NCBA DI Teams as they clinched their respective conferences and qualified for the post season joining the University of Alabama, University of Georgia, Florida State University and Grand Canyon University.   This upcoming weekend is the final weekend of the regular season with 10 more conferences up for grabs.  Below are the teams who clinched post season berth’s after this past weekend’s games.  Be sure to check out all the information on our Regional Tournament Page with more details regarding this year’s Regional Tournaments.

2017 DI WS MVP, TANNER DUNCAN MAKING NCBA PROUD!

The 2017 NCBA DI World Series MVP, Tanner Duncan is making waves in the Houston Astros Organization.  This is a must read article on Tanner and how he managed to do what everyone thought was unthinkable.

DISCIPLINARY ACTION

Southern Oregon University and the University of Montana have been placed on probation for the remainder of the season for violation of NCBA rule 25.01.0.

THREE MORE TEAMS CLINCH POST-SEASON BERTHS!

Grand Canyon University took two of three from Arizona State University this past weekend to win the Southern Pacific South Conference.  The University of Georgia claimed the South Atlantic East Conference after getting their three required non-conference games in, and The University of Alabama took two of three from Ole Miss to capture the South Atlantic West Conference!
