NCBA ALUM ZACH REKS MAKES MLB DEBUT WITH LOS ANGELES DODGERS!

Congratulations to former University of Kentucky Club Baseball player Zach Reks, who made his MLB debut with the Los Angeles Dodgers on Monday.  Zach played two seasons in the NCBA (2014, 2015) for UK Club Baseball.   He was nominated for 2nd Team Mid-Atlantic All Region in 2014 & was selected as National Player of the Week in April of 2015.

Zach was a 10th Round Pick (310 Overall) for the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2017.  He joins Steve Schmoll (University of Maryland) as the 2nd NCBA alumni who has played in a Major League Baseball game.  Congratulations Zach!

HENDERSON NAMED DIVISION II DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

The NCBA is excited to announce that Jimmy Henderson has been named the Director of Division II Baseball Operations, effective immediately.

Jimmy was born in Wheeling, WV and currently resides in Moundsville, WV. He played baseball and ice hockey throughout high school and continued to play club baseball for West Virginia University. He served as the President of the club baseball team at West Virginia his senior year.

Jimmy is a 2015 & 2016 graduate of West Virginia University with a Bachelor’s and Master’s of Sports Management with minors in Business Administration and Communications. He brings several years of sports experience as he has worked and interned for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Wheeling Nailers, Sports Info Solutions, and USA Baseball.

In his downtime, he enjoys golfing, being with family and friends, and watching sports.

We couldn’t be more excited for all NCBA participants to work with Jimmy moving forward.  He will certainly be a tremendous asset from day one and we couldn’t be happier to have him take on the challenge of running NCBA Division II Baseball Operations.  All of you will be in very good hands!

To reach Jimmy, you can email him at [email protected], or call him at 412-321-8440 x 102.
