WORLD SERIES – DAY 2 RECAP

Day 2  ✅

UC Davis & Auburn kicked off the morning with the events final 1st round matchup. The Tigers rallied late to score 6 in the final two frames taking down UCD by a 7-5 score.  FULL BOX SCORE

In the events 1st elimination game, East Carolina was in control from the start over Wisconsin.  Hunter Whitten was fantastic on the bump for the Pirates – 8 1/3 IP, 0 ER, 3 H, 2 BB, 5 K.   FULL BOX SCORE

An exciting Day 1 is officially in the books here in Alton, IL!

Florida Gulf Coast kicked the day off with a dramatic comeback to defeat Wisconsin. Picking up right where they left off last year, Creighton took their opening round game against East Carolina. In the nightcap, Penn State kicked off their quest for a 4th straight Title with a strong 4-1 victory over Boise State.
