Wisconsin took the hard road, battling all the way through the losers bracket and then rallied from a 4 run 2 out deficit in the 9th inning to defeat Illinois State 8-7 to win the Great Lakes Regional Title, and make their first World Series appearance since 2006.

NOPAC REGIONAL SET
The NoPac brackets are set with Utah State University taking on the At Large Bid Montana Grizzlies. Utah State which takes the number 1 seed will open the tournament against the University of Montana that comes off a conference series sweep of MSU. Game one is slated to begin at noon on Friday May 9. Game two on the day pits the Western Conference champion University of Oregon against the hard hitting Eastern Washington University Eagles who took the North Conference with a 13-3 record.
