It was officially moving day as our initial field of 32 was cut in half. We’re down to our final 16 teams!

Day 1 Regional Playoffs Update!
Day 1 had no shortage of excitement. We see two major upsets as UC – Santa Barbara takes down the National Runner up from 2024 and at-large bid Clemson beats the powerhouse that is the Florida State Seminoles.

All 8 Regional Brackets have been finalized. 32 teams will battle it out this weekend for a chance to move onto the NCBA DI World Series May 23-29 in Alton, IL.

Grand Canyon remains at #1 spot as they sit at 18-0 while Cal Poly overtakes #2 over Penn State.
James Madison and East Carolina both jump into the Top 20 after being unranked in Week 21.
Utah State drops out after losing 2 of 3 to Montana State while Indiana drops out as well.

Congratulations to former NCBA standout Chase Lee for making his MLB debut with the Detroit Tigers! On 4/22/25 he tossed 1 2/3 scoreless innings against the San Diego Padres.
Drafted in the 6th round (164th overall) of the 2021 MLB Draft by the Texas Rangers, Chase started on the Alabama Club Team before getting called up to Varsity.
During his 2018 NCBA season, Chase went 7-0 with a .21 ERA in 42 innings, earning him NCBA 1st team All American honors.
To date, Chase is the highest MLB draft selection to have previously played in the NCBA.

UCSB , who went from #5 to unranked, has jumped back in at #15 after a 5-0 weekend at SIS – Henderson! Creighton and UMass crack the top 20 after being previously unranked.
Auburn falls to #17 after dropping 2 of 3 to #4 Tennessee in a non-conference series while Oregon drops to #16 following a 2-2 week at SIS- Henderson.
