POST SEASON BOUND

With a conference sweep over Cornell, the University of Pittsburgh has clinched a spot in the North Atlantic Regional Tournament May 8-10.

ROSTER FREEZE DEADLINE

REMINDER: Midnight EST on April 15th, marks the official roster freeze.  No more players can be added after the freeze… period!  Double check your rosters on the NCBA website to make sure everyone is listed who is suppose to be.

POSTSEASON BOUND

Congratulations to Florida State for clinching the South Atlantic South title this past weekend. They’re onto LaGrange, GA the 2nd weekend of May to participate in the South Atlantic Regional Tournament and the right to play in the DI World Series later that month!  

DISCIPLINARY ACTION

Virginia Tech has been placed on probation for violation of NCBA rule 25.01.0 due to self imposed sanctions by the school.  Violations of the schools code of conduct due to evidence of alcohol in state issued vans caused these sanctions.

Title Implications

Huge matchups will be taking place this weekend within the NOPAC with conference title implications on the line.  In the North, Seattle (4-0) travels to EWU (7-1) while in the West Oregon (4-0) battles Oregon St (6-0).  In the South it will be defending National Champion Utah St (6-0) traveling to take on Boise St (5-1).  The winner of each of these series will be in a strong position heading down the stretch.
