Penn State got ahead early with a 2-run bomb by Patrick Barder. Matt McDonough’s stellar 8-inning pitching helped back up the offense and earned him and Barder co-players of the game honors.

Game 4 was a thriller as West Coast rivals Utah State and Nevada duked it out for a spot in the winner’s bracket. The Wolfpack came out on top with a 6-3 victory over the Aggies. Drew Andary earned his player of the game honors going 1 for 2, cracking a 2 run double, tallying 2 RBIs, 2 walks, and was hit by one pitch.
