PATRICK FITZGERALD EARNS THE WORLD SERIES MVP HONORS!
WHAT A GAME! In the National Championship, Patrick Fitzgerald delivered a walk off single to help the Nittany Lions defeat ECU 8-7 to capture the National Championship and the 2018 NCBA DI World Series MVP. Throughout the tournament, Fitzgerald led the Nittany Lions offensively in 4 games going 8-17 (.471) with 2 doubles a HR, 6 RBI’s, 5 runs and 1 stolen base!

CHAMP GAME: PENN STATE DEFEATS EAST CAROLINA 8-7!
Holy cow! This was a game for the books! In a walk off in the bottom of the 9th, Penn State clinched their National Championship title with a 8-7 victory over defending champions, East Carolina! Patrick Fitzgerald delivered the walk off single and rightfully earned the 2018 NCBA DI World Series MVP honors! Throughout the tournament, Fitzgerald led the Nittany Lions offensively in 4 games going 8-17 (.471) with 2 doubles a HR, 6 RBI’s, 5 runs and 1 stolen base!
