CHAMP GAME: ILLINOIS DOWNS GCU 9-5
The University of Illinois are officially your 2019 NCBA DI World Series Champions as they defeated Grand Canyon 9-5 in Game 15 of the event. Matt Davis of Illinois took home MVP honors after a terrific tournament at the dish! Through Illinois 5 games he went 9-22 (.409) with 1 double, 6 runs scored, 4 RBI’s, 1 walk & 1 stolen base!

GAME #14: ILLINOIS SECURES CHAMPIONSHIP GAME BERTH
#3 seed Illinois secures a berth in the Championship game after winning Game 14 of the 2019 DI World Series 4-3 over Florida State. Grant Miller earned Player of the Game honors after going 2 for 3 with 2 RBI’s.

GAME #13: GCU SECURES CHAMPIONSHIP GAME BERTH
#4 seed Grand Canyon secures a berth in the Championship game after winning Game 13 of the 2019 DI World Series 8-2 over Texas A&M. Catcher Malik Flores earned Player of the Game honors after going 3 for 5 with 1 run scored & 1 run batted in.

GAME #12: FSU FORCES IF NECESSARY GAME WITH ILLINOIS
#5 seed Florida State forces the if necessary game tomorrow after defeating #3 seed Illinois 1-0 in Game 12 of the 2019 NCBA DI World Series. Andrew Kunkler earned Player of the Game honors after throwing a complete game shutout only allowing 5 hits & 2 walks while punching out 1 guy.

#2 seed Texas A&M forces the if necessary game tomorrow after defeating #4 seed Grand Canyon 8-3 in Game 11 of the 2019 NCBA DI World Series. Luke Johnson earned Player of the Game honors after going 3 for 5 with 1 run scored & 4 RBI’s.

GAME #10: FLORIDA STATE ELIMINATES IOWA
#5 seed Florida State survives elimination after defeating #1 seed Iowa 5-3 in Game 10 of the 2019 NCBA DI World Series. Sam Nadel earned Player of the Game honors after going 2 for 4 with 1 run scored along with making numerous fantastic plays in the field that kept the Hawkeyes off the board.

GAME #9: TEXAS A&M ELIMINATES BOSTON COLLEGE
#2 seed Texas A&M survives elimination after defeating #7 seed Boston College 8-1 in Game 9 of the 2019 NCBA DI World Series. Michael Kronschnabl earned Player of the Game honors after a terrific start for the Aggies. He earned the win after hurling 8 innings, only allowing 1 run on 4 hits & 1 walk while striking out 2 guys.

GAME #8: GRAND CANYON UPSETS IOWA
#4 seed Grand Canyon moves into the National semi finals Tuesday after upsetting #1 Iowa 4-2 in Game 8 of the 2019 NCBA DI World Series. Matt McWilliams & David Macias both earned Player of the Game honors. Matt started the game and went 8 1/3 innings allowing only 2 unearned runs on 5 hits & 1 walk while striking out 1. David went 3 for 4 with 2 RBI’s & 1 run scored.
