#6 seed Virginia Tech survives another day as they eliminated #3 seed Salisbury by a score of 6-2. Virginia Tech will now play #8 seed East Carolina tomorrow at 7:00 PM CST in the Nat’l semi-finals. One win by East Carolina puts them into the Championship. Should Virginia Tech win, these two teams will play again the following day with that winner heading to the Championship.

One win by Iowa State puts them into the Championship. Should Oregon win, these two teams will play again the following day with that winner heading to the Championship.

We’re officially down to six teams! Not only were the #1 (Nebraska) & #2 (Iowa) seeds eliminated earlier today, but our only two undefeated teams in the winners bracket finals are our #7 (Iowa State) & #8 (East Carolina) seeds…who have both earned a day off tomorrow.
Impossible not to mention one more time the performance by Skylar Petry of Virginia Tech, as he threw the NCBA’s 3rd ever NO HITTER in World Series play earlier today against Iowa.

They have officially earned the day off tomorrow, as they’ll await to see who their Monday night (7:00 PM CST) opponent is. North Dakota will take on #4 seed Oregon tomorrow afternoon at 10:00 AM CST in an elimination game.
