DISCIPLINARY ACTION

Minnesota State University – Mankato Club Baseball has been handed down several punishments tied to them allowing an ineligible player to impersonate an eligible player during NCBA Sanctioned Games this fall.

ANDERSON ELECTED AS DI TEAMS REP

Jake Anderson has been elected as the NCBA DI Rules Committee Teams Representative. Should any Division I Team have a rule that they would like added/changed/deleted, they can email Jake at [email protected].  Jake will save your suggestion and present it on your behalf at the annual Rules Committee Meeting this summer. Jake has been around club baseball for many years and will be a great advocate for the Division I Teams.

The NCBA has partnered with Officials Unlimited (OU) to help provide their services to all NCBA member teams.  OU has been involved directly with the NCBA for numerous years now, as they have helped assign umpires for many NCBA events.  Throughout that time OU has made contact with hundreds of officials all around the country.  If you’re in need of assistance when securing umpires in your area please don’t hesitate to reach out to Mike Lancaster with OU.  Contact information below!

DI RULES COMMITTEE REP SEAT UP FOR ELECTION!

If anyone is interested in running for the Division I Rules Committee Team Representative, please CLICK HERE to download the candidate form to then submit to [email protected] by 11:59 PM EST Sunday, October 22nd!

 

Anyone is invited to apply for the position. The position is a 2-year term. Responsibilities include gathering all rule changes/suggestions/adoptions from Division I teams & presenting them to the rest of the committee at the annual NCBA Rules Meeting each summer. All expenses paid.  The Rules Rep will also have a say & vote in all rule discussions throughout the meeting.
