Scott Hankosky’s LSC Montgomery team is known for getting off to great starts to the season and this season will be no different. The Mavericks opened up the 2013 campaign on Saturday against a University of Houston club ranked #15 in the D2 poll. The Mavs swept both ends of the double header thanks to Stephen Crawford’s efforts at the plate and Cody Carroll’s pitching on the mound. The Mavs will get a chance to improve their 2-0 effort this coming weekend against local opponent Rice University.
